    About the College

    Velammal College of Engineering and Technology (VCET), established in 2007, is dedicated to provide quality technical education. VCET is conferred with Autonomous Status by UGC since 2021. It is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, accredited with "A" Grade by NAAC and re-accredited by NBA, New Delhi for 6 UG programmes. The institution is also recognized as a Research Institute by the Centre for Research, Anna University, Chennai. The college possess world-class infrastructure and experienced faculty members. VCET has obtained 58 R&D projects to the tune of Rs.12.54 Crores, funded by organizations such as DST, DRDO, AICTE, ISRO, MNRE, IEDC and BIRAC. Additionally, as a recognized Business Incubator under MSME, it has received Rs.197 Lakhs for 20 projects. Our Velammal students, are placed in top multinational companies like Amazon, ZOHO, Juspay, Wells Fargo, Swiggy, CODA Global, Sirius Technologies, WIPRO, EmbedUR Systems, Amphisoft, Presidio, Sify Technologies, Urjanet, VVDN Technologies etc.

    About the Department

    The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering has been making rapid strides in delivering quality technical education. It has achieved excellence in both academics and research, receiving fund for 23 research projects worth Rs. 3.6 Crores from agencies such as DST,DRDO, AICTE and SERB. The department has consistently demonstrated academic excellence, with 116 university ranks and a Gold Medal over the last six batches. The department provides a supportive learning environment, featuring 9 state-of-the-art laboratories and 4 R&D labs worth Rs.253 Lakhs. The faculty brings expertise across a wide range of fields and are actively engaged in cutting-edge research areas including Image Processing, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Antennas & RF, Internet of Things, Embedded Systems, VLSI, and Networks.The department has 825 research publications indexed in SCI, SCIE, Web of Science and SCOPUS.The department has signed MoU with industries like Tesla Minds, Avian Aerospace and Tekinow. Emphasizing skill development, the department has achieved over 994 NPTEL certifications.

    SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

    • ICICC’25 invites research scholars, students, academicians, engineers, and scientists to submit original research contributions based on their findings and developments.
    • Manuscripts must be written in English and follow the IEEE double-column format, with a maximum length of 6 pages.
    • Authors are required to submit their papers in the prescribed format, along with a self-plagiarism report, to icicc2025@gmail.com
    • Accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings.
    • Selected papers will be recommended for publication in Scopus-indexed journals after a double-blind review process with additional journal publication charges.
